TCS is leader in Oracle service providers: report

Tata Consultancy Services has been named as a leader in the Forrester Research Inc industry report on Oracle service providers. The company made the announcement on Friday.Forrester evaluated the strengths, weaknesses and differences in the strategy of 14 leading global services providers in the Oracle applications market. The assessment was based on 68 criteria, which were grouped into three high-level buckets, including current offering, strategy and market presence. TCS achieved top scores in all three area, the company said in a press release.TCS partnership with Oracle has spanned nearly two decades. During this time, TCS has demonstrated through multiple global engagements, their expertise in Oracle applications and technology solutions.  This is the third Forrester Wave report in 2011 in which TCS has been featured as an industry leader. TCS was named a leader in the March 2011 reports as well.Tata Consultancy Services has consolidated revenues of $8.2 billion for last fiscal and has nearly two lakh consultants in 42 countries.
