Paid tax online after log in thro e-filing portal, epay, netbanking option;
bank account debited; but cin not generated; crn status is initiated.

If yes then check challan history after login from epay option

Pl check if any message recived in e mail or mobile regarding challan generated
because....in my case I recived tax paid challan on mail.id
also check payment history in tax portal

Challan status is payment initiated yet even now.
Mail rec'd from dept today asked me to pay the challan amount before the crn challan
What can be done to get cin early
Make the payment if it is not done yet
