Tax deduction will be available under section 80DDB. The amount of deduction is Rs. 40,000 for person aged less than 60 yrs and Rs. 60,000 for persons aged above 60 years. You do not need to provide bills for claiming exemption, but you should preserve them in case of assessment by the tax officer.
