namaste to all my CCI brothers & sisters

i have passed my PCC exams this may . now i am going to appear in ca final in may 2012 both groups . kindly tell me which subjects i can prepare by myself . & which subjects needs coaching classes , moreover in case of self study subjects kindly suggest me best books for self study which are not lengthy like padhuka .

1) Financial Reporting : Parveen Sharma Class Notes (Avoid reading books)

2) Strategic Financial Management : J B Gupta or A N Sridhar

3) Adv. Auditing & Professional Ethics : Surbhi bansal

4) Corporate & Allied Laws : Munish Bandhari Handbook

Group II:

5) Adv. Management Accounting: Ravi M Kishore

6) Information System control & audit: Manish Valechha with PM

7) Direct Tax Laws: T N Manoharan or Vinod Gupta

It is better to join class for SFM...

You can also arrange makkar sir's notes (very good for self study).

i m also having same confusion.. can anyone suggest me.. 8 months is eough for bith groups.. i'll get leave from office only from december..after then i can syudy more than 10 hours a day.. now i can spare only maximum6 hours... highly in confusion that shall i give both or only one group in may 12..please suggest

Try to complete major portion of all practical subjects before december (a/c, sfm, cost) ...

After getting leave theoretical subjects can be done smoothly if you have already completed the practical subject.

Hi friends, I have my ca final in may 2012! Can you tell me which study material of the institute (including the practice manual) should I buy? Which material is relevant? I heard they are updated in jan 2011, dec 2011 and now in jan 2012? There are major changes in isca for example! So which month,year publishment is relevant for may 2012? Which ones are you all studying from?

i think latest ones should be out...u better confirm from regional centres while buying....and exepct isca all others can be managed even with older modules
