If it is applied through offline then TAN application acknowledgement number can be used to find TAN Number.

There won't be TAN certificate but there will a TAN allotment letter

Click on http://www.incometaxindiaefiling.gov.in
Click on the option Know your TAN
Click on Select Name under the Tan Search option
Select the Category of Deductor
Select State
Give Name
Give the registered mobile number and select the option Continue
GIve the OTP that you received on the registered mobile number
Select the option Validate
Get the pdf print of it

The steps to download your TAN certificate online:

Go to the NSDL TIN website and select the option for TAN under the 'Services' tab.
Select the 'Application Type' as 'TAN-New/ Change Request'.
Enter the 'Acknowledgement Number' that you received when you applied for your TAN.
Enter the captcha code shown on the screen and click on 'Submit'.
Your TAN status will be displayed on the next page.
Scroll down the page and look for the statement that says 'Click here to download your TAN Allotment Letter'. Click on that link to download your TAN certificate.
