- Click on http://www.incometaxindiaefiling.gov.in
- Click on the option Know your TAN
- Click on Select Name under the Tan Search option
- Select the Category of Deductor
- Select State
- Give Name
- Give the registered mobile number and select the option Continue
- GIve the OTP that you received on the registered mobile number
- Select the option Validate
- Get the pdf print of it
The steps to download your TAN certificate online:
- Go to the NSDL TIN website and select the option for TAN under the 'Services' tab.
- Select the 'Application Type' as 'TAN-New/ Change Request'.
- Enter the 'Acknowledgement Number' that you received when you applied for your TAN.
- Enter the captcha code shown on the screen and click on 'Submit'.
- Your TAN status will be displayed on the next page.
- Scroll down the page and look for the statement that says 'Click here to download your TAN Allotment Letter'. Click on that link to download your TAN certificate.
