tally sharing one system to another system

To some extent it is possible to use the same data in another system using Remote edit feature of Tally.ERP 9

(Its an alternate, expensive and Slow performance solution)

U Can use same data in another machine for Viewing Purpose only.

U can also use the option passwords and security.From that u can create a users and give them passwords according to the users.It will easy for you.

 it may not be possible as the passwords & security is for the PC where the licence server is installed.

The only way i can suggest is licence version installed in both the Pcs. Then & then it is possible,

Try for mapping drive, it may work, but mapping should be done in both the PCs.

Mapped Drive name should be identical for both the Pcs.

Installation should be in the mapped drive only (licence file would be located in the mapped drive & give path to the mapped drive in the tally.ini file for licence.)

Now go to the 2nd Pc where tally is not installed & open mapped drive open tally ( if it works your good luck) It is purely my logic about the mapping of drives.

I am not sure as i am using multiuser licence & I can not try this thing @ my place

you need to get this done from some one who is having knowledge of both Mapping drive & installation of tally.
