Copy of ARE-3 is being used as proof for the supply of Material imported through advance license without payment of duties to EOU Unit where in the ARE-3 is excise document, being used for Excise duty exemption only.
In case, Such material sent to EOU Unit without ARE-3 when the EOU customer is ready to bear the Excise duty. For such case what document shall be used as proof export which is required by the DGFT while closing the Advance License.

An advance licence is granted for the import of inputs without payment of basic customs duty. Such licences shall be issued in accordance with the policy and procedure in force on the date of issue of the licence and shall be subject to the fulfillment of a time-bound export obligation, and value addition as maybe specified. Advance licences maybe either value based or quantity based.
