Strange letter from icai

hello friends,

i have recently joined my articleship and submitted my articleship reg. form duly filled to the institute

but i got a strange letter from icai today....

it reads as follows:

"sub:transfer of articles file of mr.siddhant adukia

this is to inform you that details of the above mentioned student are being sent herewith as member belongs to southern region.you are requested to take neccesary action at your end"

this letter was a cc to me...and it is addressed to the chennai office of the icai

my concern is that i belong from the western region (mumbai) and im in a fix as to how my details are being sent to the chennai office....

please respond urgently...

any help will be appreciated....thanks in advance! :)

Bro It might be the case that u Filled & Submitted wrong form to the institute or else if everything was ok from ur side then try to talk to the concerned authorities of the ICAI showing the copy of the form u have submitted confirming the fault at ICAI side & i hope u will find ur problem solved at the earliest

Or Else u Can firstly try to get some help through e-sahayata to what to do & where to go Exactly as they can give u more better solution to ur problem

i just hope that if it is a mistake.....regardless of who commited it...that it will be duly reversed....wont it??

Ya Sure if I tell u my Believe

I Believe that ICAI will make the necessary change if the mistake is on its part but i also think that if it is from ur part then u might have to work a little more harder to get it sorted
