Stipend for Leave Period

For your info, leave as per ICAI norms is 3 months or unexhausted leave which ever is less.

You are also eligible for stipends!

yes,  this clause is valid coz this is ur legel leaves as u get 158 days leave

so, u must claimed the stipend as it is mentioned in the prospectos also

Hi dude if any one can tell me....if my firm not paying stipend for exam holidays what i took as per icai prospectus ....whether i have rights on that to get my stipends.....

Look, as per icai norms we are awarded 135 leaves in 3yrs of articleship.

Means these are paid leaves.

Out of these 135 u can take preperation leaves for exams too

yes we are eligible for 1/ 6 period of the actual period serve as a eligible leave which is a paid leave

so u have a right to get it

u can get stipend for ur leave period...u cann't recive payment of stipend for the excessive leave taken by u as per the institute guideline..

for this calculate ur eligible leave..

365*3                               =                                                             A          1095

less : leave taken by u (suppose 120 days)                             B           120

                                                                                                     A - B           975 

1/6 of 975                                                                                                       162.5

So u hav right to recive ur stipend because u hav permissive leave of  162.5 days and u use only 120 days....
