I have attached a Ready  Reckoner on Important legal requirements and health and safety, for the Indian apparel manufacturers.

It has been issued by DISHA. DISHA is a pan India initiative undertaken by the Ministry of Textiles, Govt. of India, through the AEPC to increase awareness among apparel manufacturers on required national and international compliance standards, and to assess, train and guide them to upgrade the workplace conditions and labor standards in their facilities. This document clarifies some of the common queries on “Legal Requirements” and “Health and Safety” sections of the AEPC-Disha Common Compliance Code.
