It is centralized registration number i.e., 1 for all states
then why everyone is saying that GST is state wise registration?
There is no concept of centralized registration in GST...
you have to obtain registeration in each state from where you are supplying goods or services

by 1 GST number we have to register in each state?
No, for each Registration you will get a different GSTIN
