Hi,

I have started with a software development startup and I am also working in an MNC fulltime in parallel, so sort of confidential one. I am on my own and do not have any customer base as of now. I would like to know do I need to really register my Startup and if yes, what type of registration - just trademark / Pvt Ltd or single person registration is there? What is the process and cost involved.

Kindly Trademark your product.

You could incorporate Pvt. Company(For Raising Money) and designate two people as Directors (Since you are in full time employment)

start a software solution private limited as a start up company. you and one more person incorporate the company. taht will not affect your employment.
