hey can anybody tell that weather we can use M1, M2, M3, M4 or L1, L2, L3................................. method for computing variance(for pcc exams) or we have to follow the basic formula's only?

u should apply those formulas which are easy for u to get ans and give full understanding of u r working to examiner
u can apply any formula t is not important finding the right is important
and before choosing any formula u should make full working note to support u r ans
you can use m1 m2 but dnt gorget to explain meaning of m1 m2
