Stamp value of transfer of shares by way of gift
Do we need to affix requisite value of share transfer stamp or revenue stam on SH-4 when the transfer is executed by way of gift? What will be the value of stamp?

Yes, at normal rate of 0.015% of the total market value of the shares.
It means gifting of shares requires payment of stamp duty. Right

As transferee would be required to apply for share transfer, it is his/her liability to complete the formalities.
