The stamp paper requirement is Rs 750/- Please confirm to what you have quoted. In case its changed, please post ur reply stating the text of the relevant circular or notification.

 it is Rs.500 in maharashtra

Hi,

The stamp duty applicable for Partnership Deed is state subject & hence the state where the registered office of the firm is situated, stamp duty shall be payable accordingly.

For e.g - In Maharashtra it is as per Bombay Stmap Act,

So far Capital contribution upto Rs. 50000 it is Rs. 500 increasing thereafter by Rs. 500 each for every increase in capital by Rs. 50,000. Maximum stamp Rs. 5000 in Maharashtra.

So Refer to local state law, If not possible then contact your local state Registrar of Firms on telephone, generally they will guide you immediately  

Refer the concerned state stamp act where usually you will find a schedule. Find out the rate from there.

Dear Sir,

I just now came to know, the stampt paper of Rs.500 require for partnership deed. One of my friend already prepared partnership deed on Rs. 100 stamp paper yearly back and doing the business till now. There will be problem in future to him ? What should be the solution now ? can he revised a new partnership deed or attached addititioal stamp paper of Rs.500/-
