An article on Service Tax on this website mentions that frequency of filing returns under ST shall become monthly from April 2012.
Is this correct? Is there any change in ST interest rates to work the delay in payment.
Checked the amendments wrt ST but couldn't find anything relevant.

Pls. read the last para of the article on the link below, this Caclub article says ST return has to be filed monthly. If possible pls. confirm whether the budget has made such amendments.

Rohit there is no such amendment in this budget. It is only proposed to introduced such change. This would be a step towards implementation of GST Act.
