SSP portal update of qualifications error

I have been trying to update of my qualification details and there is no email or phone number being displayed to send my otp, and i am worried if this is because there is a limit to update details!

Is there a limit to update details in the ssp portal?

 

does anyone know a fix?

You're running into an issue on the ICAI SSP portal while trying to update qualification details, where:

  • No email ID or phone number is showing for OTP delivery

  • You’re concerned it might be due to a limit on updates

Answer:

❌ No — There is no official limit on how many times you can update your qualification details on the SSP portal.

However, the missing contact details (email/phone) on the OTP screen is a known glitch, especially for older student profiles or those that haven't been fully updated after the SSP portal rollout.


🔧 How to Fix It

1. 🛠️ Verify and Update Your Contact Details in Profile

  • Log in to: https://eservices.icai.org/

  • Go to Profile Edit → Personal Details

  • Check whether your email ID and mobile number are correctly updated

  • If they’re missing or outdated, update them and click Submit

⚠️ If they appear greyed out or uneditable, you may need to raise a helpdesk ticket (see below).


2. 📩 Raise an ICAI Helpdesk Ticket (Best Option)

Here’s how:

  1. Go to SSP Helpdesk

  2. Login > Click Helpdesk

  3. Submit a new ticket

    • Category: Student Module

    • Subcategory: Profile / Personal Details / Qualification

    • Descripttion: Clearly mention that your contact details aren't showing during OTP verification

    • Attach a screenshot (optional but recommended)


3. ✉️ Email ICAI (If Helpdesk Delay)

You can also email:

📧 ssp @ icai.in
📧 studentservices @ icai.in

Include:

  • Your Student Registration Number (SRN)

  • Full Name

  • A brief of the issue

  • Screenshot (if possible)


✅ Once Fixed

Once your contact details are restored or corrected, the OTP option will reappear during the qualification update process.
