Society membership certificate

We have purchased flat in dec 2009 and got it registered in aug 2010. We are trying to get membership certificate since jan 2010. What can we do?

Can u pls give all the details as to state, city,  name of the society, deed in whose name is registered etc all the details, so that proper reply can be made.

I think that as per details given by you, it is co-operative housing society ltd. If you have purchased the

said flat from the reseller or from president/secretary of the society, then in either of the case, kindly

collect the share certificate from the reseller or president / secretary of the society. If the share

certificate is in the name of the reseller, then apply with the application alongwith the True copy of

deed and Original share certificate to the president / secretary of the society. They will transfer-

mutuate  your father's name in the share certifcate. 

We have purchased  flat from reseller. He got it from builder. the society is newly formed 4yrs. chairman etc work on honorary always delays the work. they had not issued certy's to our seller as his ownership was not confirmed from builder. wen we purchased society got letter from builder confirming owners of few flats in our society. we have made applications as required and provided by society. Last year few people came together, made complaint to MHADA. Wenever we ask them they assure us u will get it. last time we got the different answer ur applications are under process. How much time it takes in processing? isn't there any time limit. it is ok with society. but i m scared of that seller. if any thing goes wrong and if more signatures are required he will try to pull out money from us. 

What shall i do now? How can i check if the appliction is really under process?How long I should wait?

Roopaliji, as per the above details,

(1) Can u send me the copy of deed so that i can go thru it and reply.

(2) Is the society registered under registrar of societies. If yes, u can inquire, complain and make application to them.

(3) if the society is not registered, on what basis is it made since 4 yrs - kindly register it and then complain to registrar of societies.

I can further reply only after going the document(deed).

1. i m not sure if i can send it. i will have to ask my father

2. society is registered one. on its letter head we have society reg no.

3. we had paid donation at the time of purchase.we have not recd its recpt yet. the F Y is gone there next years' books r getting audited now. still no receipt how is this possible. (Donation paid by cheque)

If society is registered, then u can complain and make application to registrar of societies. u can contact and complain to the person who is making audit. Lastly as i said earlier, I can further reply only after going the document(deed) and certificate of registration of society. Now its up to u to send the deed or not.
