if a person is paying rent to their parent and online transaction of rent is there, then is rental agreement still needed and if yes then simple agreement on stamp paper works or does it have to be notarized one?

No need of any stamp paper, just get a simple agreement on the paper and get it signed..
Depends on purpose of such rent agreement, otherwise for general you can make single agreement
If such rental agreement is always followed as per the norms specified therein.What do you think will be the implications on the same?
Rent agreement can not be made on stamp paper even though it is between father and son. Payment of requisite stamp duty and registration fees to the government on every rent agreement is mandatory.
