U can get the details of Closing STock if u Account it with inventories. U can get there defult avg cost.

for Short Term or Long Term u have to pass the JV in account.

But  in the contract notes  both sale & purchase  of shares  will be there. it is difficult to pass the entries in purchase  voucher & sales Voucher for same contract note.  if  we Pass entries in Journal voucher  under  the closing stock will duplicated  in  the Group -Investment & in the Group Closing stock. please help more on this topic

It is possible just using cost centre
