Suppose I have share of X company,purchased from some share broker.When I sent for transfer ,the seller is asking company to stop transfer.Can the company stop the transfer without FIR/Court Order.
What the purchaser [ if he is having a proof of purhcase ] can go ahead ?

Without having any proof the company cannot stop transfer the shares. However as a precautionary measure, they will stop. But with valid proof of purchase, the company shall trasfer the shares
