setoff of marks in ICWA exams

Dear Sir / Madam,

I need clarification on setoff of marks in ICWA exams.. If we wrote both group (3 & 4 of ICWA Final), can we use setoff of marks for aggregate purpose...I mean if we score 47% in Gr-3 & 53% in Gr-4, whether the excess marks is adjustable (setoff) for the another group.

Please share your views / knowledge

`set off benefit not available in ICWAI. it means in a particular group 50% aggregate should be required.`

agreed. u have to score 50% marks in each group.

Am appearing for my cwa final in june 12 , i have taken exemption in paper 12/14 as i qualufied cs Now am wrting 6 papers ( 11/13/15/16/17/18 , can i get the benifit of carryforward frm grp 3 to grp 4 , for excess marks above 200 Set off of marks above 200 ( like 215 + 185 = 400 ,,, pass ) or the benifit of the same not avvailable for cwa students If set off allowed ,, as i claimed exemption in 2 papers , wil additional marks in other 2 papers above 50 marks carryforward ? If yes ,, if i clear both , wil the istitute provide me rank Thkng u sir

additional marks in papers above 50 cannot be carried forward.......u need 2 score 100 in grp 3 and 200 in grp 4 with min 40 in each paper 2 clear the exam.........
