I met with a problem while preparing the financial statement of a servicing company.please advice me how to present the contract receipts which is not due but some cost has been incurred for the contract in the year itself.

you have to prepare separate head for such expenditure and transfer such expenditure to work in progress and show in the closing stock (work in progress)
