Client is in the business of giving JCB on Hire on daily/Hourly/monthly basis. Now the question is
1. Is service tax applicable ?
2. If Yes then is there any abatment available ?
3. Is the situation before July 2012 is different from after July 2012 ?
Service tax is applicable. Category of taxable service : Supply of tangible goods.
No abatement is available.
To the best of my knowledge, the situation is same before and after July 12., ie, introduction of negative list.
