Service tax monetary limit on turnover

Sir,

Kindly anyone guide me whether any  monetary limit is there that anyone individual or company providing services has to pay service tax if there turnover exceeds from a certain limit or there is no such criteria.?Every person who is providing service has to pay service tax irrespective of turnover or profit.
