Could someone tell me how to pass journal entries from scratch incase of service tax payable of an Insurance surveyor?
My undersrtanding is:
Expense a/c Dr.
Service tax a/cDr.
To ST payable a/c
ST payable Dr.
To Cash a/c
P/La/c Dr.
To ST payable
Incase Im wrong,kindly correct it and would u pls tell me in detail on what are the statutory requirements and a brief summary in this regard?
Also pls tell me is Insurance surveyor eligible for situtations where service receiver will have to pay service taxes?in that case pls explain what should be the journal entry in that case as well.
