Quick Summary
This discussion clarifies that the exemption under Section 10(15)(i) for interest earned on Post Office savings accounts is indeed available within the New Tax Regime. It addresses the specific exemption limits for single accounts (₹3,500) and joint accounts (₹7,000). A separate query regarding incorrect placement of current assets and liabilities in Tally Prime is also addressed, with potential causes and solutions suggested.

Yes, this exemption is still available in New Tax Regime.

@ honourable dhirajlal rambhia sir , why my current assets shows in liability side and current t liabilities in assets side??? how can I rectify that

in tally prime

most confusing

Either negative values in all or any one ledger bringing the total value to negative.........

But most probable reason would be wrong entries in these legers or selection of ledgers in wrong groups.
