Declaration in Form 15G ,obtained towards "Interest other than int on securities" by a Firm or Company are required to be filed with the Commissioner of I Tax on or before 7th day of the month next following the month in which the declaration is furnished. What is the consequence if the filing is delayed by one week due to Non- receipt of Form 15G from an individual ? Or if the delay is due to oversight by the Assessee firm or company ?

If the individual has given the form to firm in time then he is not responsible for such delay

but if the individual has not sent the form within time to Firm then he could be held responsible for such delay. But if the form has been received now then it can be submitted in the Income Tax Office, now on the request.
