Very simple. Convert that scanned file into .pdf format using Adobe Acrobat & reduce the file size from document menu. The file size will reduce to around 100kb only. Just try it out.
try to reduce the resolution. keep it near 100 or 150 ... it ll surely help.. if converting to pdf doesnt works
