One of the founder Directors of the Private Limited Company wants to retire because of his old age. He desires to know whether he is eligible for any retirement benefits like lump sum gratuity etc. I shall be grateful if this question is enlightened.

But I am afraid that this may not apply to Directors of a private company who are shareholders. I shall be grateful for any precedent in this case.
