Restuarant regular scheme

Is it true that for restuarant regular dealer it is not allowed to claim input tax and also is it allowed to capital goods?

HE CANNOT CLAIM ITC ON CAPITAL GOODS ALSO.

As per Notification no. 46/2017 , Rate for Restaurant is 5% without ITC.
Hence Restaurant cannot claim ITC.
No ITC even on capital goods.

Yes, it's True that Restaurant cannot claim ITC.

There is fixed rate of 5% without ITC , Restaurant service provider are not allowed to claim ITC
