Rental agreement with parent

Notary is anyways not mandatory for Rent agreement, witness signatures are required however. Depending on the state however, it is required to be registered.

So get a rent agreement signed on appropriate value of stamp paper and register it. In states like TN and Maharashthra, it can be registered easily via online. 

so if its not TN maha or andhra , aN agreement on 100 rs stamp paper between the 2  and witness signs r enough, its not needed to be notraized or registered right?

Stamp paper value needs to be checked based on the state. Regarding registration, to be checked with respective State Act. Notary definitely not required.
