please suggest if the rent agreement (notarised on Rs 50/- stamp paper) needs to be renewed and a fresh agreement needs to be made after the expiry of specified period because except the payment clause other terms and conditions remain the same?note that the landlord has moved to another place and is not in the same city anymore.
Usually the agreement gets expired, and as such the tenant occupies the property base on month to month tenure without any binding clause. So, it is always safe for landlord to renew the agreement.
