Remuneration

CS 797 views 3 replies

Dear Learned Members,

I need your purview in the following situation.

A final pass CS who has underwent his/her training from a company is awaiting the ACS no.

The same company offers him her to continue as the Trainee owing to a casual vacancy of the regular company secretary.

In your opinion what should be the remuneration deserved by the candidate? The training period is over.

Hi Rashmi,

Well, I would say... it depends on work profile, city and responsibility of the role.

As said ... only membership no is awaited, candidate deserve  what normal CS deserve. Candidate knows company very well and thatt will be one more benefit to demand more from the Company.

Best of Luck.....................Warm Regards

 Hi Rashmi,

If you are done with all trainings and just awaitng membership number, you can quote amount as a CS.

Though the remuneration depends from city, company and experience and other factors, but as a professional you can quote

note less than 4.5 or 5 Lac p.a. This is my opinion. Other views are welcome.

I discussed about the payment. They say that they could not pay me as a regular CS.

As I am not an associate and so  they are only entitled to pay me as a Trainee.

This is not fair.. is it?

On being said that I am not a trainee anymore and working as an assitant CS they asked me if I can provide them with a letter showing that an assistant CS can be appointed and what sort of payment is made to them.

Now, where do I get such letter from?

:(
