Remote Access and SMS is available in Tally.ERP 9 Rel 2.0 Beta version

Remote Access :
Create/Alter Masters and Transactions, and view Reports without any barriers, intrusions or interference over the Trusted Remote, while people involved with the business are physically away from the business location. All this happens when the company remains connected to Tally.NET.

SMS :
Using a mobile device, the business owner communicates with simple English (known as Natural Language) via SMS (Short Message Service) to the company connected to Tally.NET and get the required info like Stock in hand, Bank Balance, Outstandings etc.,

Remote edit is a much awaited feature of Tally.ERP9 and will surely help multi-locational business. This is very much required if Tally wants to call itself a true realtime ERP application.

The SMS service provided by Tally though has a much limited functionality as it only allows user to pull information from Tally when he is away from office. It does not allow users to send SMS from tally related to business information to the owners and clients.

To send SMS from Tally there is a software (Tally Plugin) called Tally Messenger. ( www.TallyMessenger.com )
