Is it that a firm not having crossed turnover over 5 lacs required to be registered under GST.

Not required as limit is upto 20 lakh turnover
Many cases department asking for registration no. how to manage
If youl are already registered on vat or sevice tax or excise thwn u have to migrate to gst first & then apply for cancellation
