Hello Sir, How long it takes to get GST number after submitting the application online and assuming all information submitted is correct ?

Is the complete process to get GST number online or local officers also do physical inspection befor giving GST number. And, is this process completely free of cost as each Professionals charging different. fees for GST registration. How can we know how much is the actual fee of government.

Gst no. is nothing but ur provisional I'd generated initially. u will be getting provisional certificate than and there which can be downloaded. after approval by the proper officer if no issues are there u will be getting permanent cerificate within three days.physical verification is not mandatory

Hello Sarada and Somil, Thank you for the answers. Do we need to do anything else after we get number by GST-6 form ? There is no place to declare existing stock in registration process.
