Small service provider who works in industry & takes small contract for a short period like 15- 45 days. Now industry is asking GST registration number from them. This kind of service provider works in different state. Now my query is that whether is it required for them to get registration in every state or they can get registration in the state where they live & charge IGST on their bill.
Please ignore 20 lakhs limit.
The service provider can take single registration and can supply interstate with IGST levy.
