registration

I have just started my own practice as CA prop firm. I would like to register for GST . I am not able to get GST in my firm's name as GST site is asking for name as per PAN.Being a prop firm I can't have separate PAN for my firm. Can I apply as an individual and use it for my trade name XYZ & co?(ie in firm's letterhead, invoices etc).?will it create some issues if somebody checks and finds the GST no is not in the name of the firm? ( eg banks while giving proof for opening current account)
