i hv heard that transfer of articleship within the same city is banned

I also din find it in icai site...but i know dats not a rumour for sure...

No i m also under the old scheme...in c.a. final...so we dun need to take transfer....
that means to change from one firm to another wont be a problem

Hi, is the new rule pertaining to transfer applicable for people who have given their PE-I exam in November 2006 and eligible for PCC in November 2008?
hey anybody can say me whether we can transfer firm any time in PCC COURSE...............NEARLY FINISHED 15 months writing exam in this nov 08....but the firm in which i m situated is giving me only 2 months leave............its urgent ............help me out...........
