Regarding tds

i am a govt employee. our tds is deducted by ddo thru treasury office, but in this time our salary of month feb paid in march not drawn. my rs.5600 tds in not deducted. so how to pay tds tax and what panelty have to pay. who will pay penalty.

I agree with Ms. Parul but you should pay your taxes at the time of filing your returns.

just pay your taxes...not need to worry about TDS.

you are required to pay Rs.5600 more as tax as it is not deducted from you as TDS..

Agree with above all replies... as per your computation of income, You need to pay remaining tax as a self assessment tax and go ahead for filling your return of income.

Even Advance tax rule is not applicable in your case. therefore you need not to pay Interest U/s 234B and 234C. if you file the your income tax return after 31st July 2014 then you have to pay interest U/s 234A
