I am a CA student from Gujarat. I originally registered for articleship on 03.10.2015 but then i took transfer from that firm on 21.12.2015. After which due to personal issues i only got registered in my 2nd firm on 15.02.2016. But then my family had to move to another city so i took transfer from my 2nd firm on 19.11.2016 and got re-registered in the new firm in another city on 21.11.2016. At the time of taking transfer from my 2nd firm i was under an impression that 1 year criteria is satisfied so NOC of the principal and other documents are required but i got institute letter asking for the same as they have also considered the period between 22.12.2015 to 14.02.2016 in 1 year criteria. So i submited the necessary documents and my transfer got approved. Now my articleship is due to get completed on 27.11.2018.
I have a doubt regarding whether i am still elligible to appear for CA Final exam in MAY 2018 (calculating 2.5 years criteria from 03.10.2015) or NOV 2018 (calculating actual period for which i have served my articleship)
