I have applied for new gst registration, it was assign to to Central, they have raise a query i.e. the rent agreement was not registered
whether the registration of rent agreement is compulsory, if no plz share the any notification regarding the same

As such it is not necessary. Enter into a rent agreement of 11 months or less
Renewable after 11 months.
If it's agreement is for 1 year and more than registration is necessary, otherwise not mandatory
