Can anyone please let me know that for FY 2011-12 is it mandatory to claim refund under MVAT if the MVAT credit exceeds Rs 1 Lakh or it can be c/fd to the subsequent period.

If the refund claim is upto rs 1 lac then you can carry forward.

Can you also guide me as to if the amount is not utilised within 2 years then can it be claimed as refund or it has to be c/fd.
