I had given a bank guarantee to DVAT as security in 2009. The validity expired in 2013 and there is no claim. But the dep't has not returned the BG to the bank so far. I applied via dvat 13 but no response. I am no longer in business and surrendered my GST registration and already filed GSTR 10.
Can anybody help me to get the BG back from the deptt.

Since you have already submitted Form DVAT-13, the delay is likely an administrative backlog at your local ward. Visit your jurisdictional VATO to ensure your file is marked as "No Dues" and request they process the "Note for Release of Bank Guarantee" for final approval by the Commissioner.
