Refund of gstr3b late fees

Dear sir,

GSTR3B late fee paid before september 2018 amount of Rs.50000 for 6 to 7 months returns. How to get refund of this amount in future.

Late fess Waive off recommended for the return

Late fee shall be completely waived for all taxpayers in case FORM GSTR-1, FORM GSTR-3B &FORM GSTR-4 for the months / quarters July, 2017 to September, 2018, are furnished after 22.12.2018 but on or before 31.03.2019.

If you filled return before 22-Dec-18 . Than you are nor eligible as per Recomandation 31st GST Council Meeting

I have filed a return for one of my client for Feb 18 on 31.12.2018. So can i claim refund of Rs 10k which I paid it as late filing fees.

Dear Mitro :),

There is no Refund issue as we do not have to pay LF because its clearly mention on GST website "LF waaived Off"... so go for filling without paying LF and enjoy the AccheDin.

But what if the return is filed on 31.12.2018 and the late filing fees has been paid already. For that I suppose we need to file a gst refund application

foods received in 2017-18 ITC has been taken, now in 2018-19 can we return the goods to the relavent party? which documents to be issued? Tax invoice or Debit note?
