Hope everyone is good and fine. I have received an email stating there is a refund failure for the ITR that I have filed. The reason for failure is : PE0005
Could you please let me know what this code means?

Is it from CPC or any fictitious site....
Sorry for the delayed reply. It is the message shown in my income tax account portal when I logged in to check the refund status. Could it because of change of IFSC code.
Please reply
It may be due to your account is not validated.
Check the account details, rectify for any error & request for validation.
After it gets validated, file request for refund reissue.
