Hi All

I just recieved an email from CPC Bangalore with following content on 29/2/2012. This is for IT return of financial return 2007-2008 and Assesment year 2008- 2009. How should i respond to this request? Is this not timebound procedure? should i even respond to this email?

Your return for the abovementioned assessment year will henceforth be rectified by your Assessing Officer. You

are requested to contact your assessing officer for any rectification related issues.

This intimation intimate about the seeking rectification on the behalf of you which has been done by Income tax department -CPC , so , you can get 143(1) i.e. asssesment order by post or you should be reach local income tax department to concern Jurisdiction for thye same assessment year, if you face any problem to find your jurisdiction then you must be login your account at income tax indiaefiling.gov.in .
