Rebate on overpayment
If any employee receives some amount as overpayment in salary and he submits that amount through challan.How can he get rebate on that overpayment in tax?

Either employer can change its TDS return and rectify the tax deduction to the employee, or employee can get it back as refund after filing ITR.
In which section employee can get refund?
When TDS is reflecting in sec. 192, he can file ITR with form 16 and claim excess refund.
