Quick Summary
This discussion addresses an issue faced when filing ITR 3 where expenses cannot be claimed if there is no income, as the system requires gross profit to be greater than zero. A user suggests a workaround: enter sales as Re. 1 and increase expenses by Re. 1. This method should allow the system to accept the expense figures, enabling you to claim your legitimate business costs.
